No-Pity Island is what I'll call a "strategic platforming game". It's done in textmode, and as such your player (drawn with ASCII lines to be multiple characters big) steps in character-sized blocks. It's like a turn-based platformer, since you can carefully consider your next moves before doing them. The goal is to collect all of the $ and reach the end of the level @. The gameplay is pretty basic but it's always fun to see what kind of gameplay skilled coders (in this case members of the demoscene) can fit into a 14k executable file.
